The Adairs bought a magnificent old Spanish estate on Tucson’s northwest side in November 1972 and began renovating it for their second site. Mr. Adair, however, never got to see it finished since he died on June 5, 1973, following a long and difficult struggle with cancer. However, Martha and her sons and daughters persisted, and in 1974, the second facility opened for business. This chapel, which first opened its doors in 1984, continues to serve Tucson’s northwest side as well as other towns north of the city.
